We found no signs of distortion. However, the Honor 8A lacked bass, as expected. All things considered the speaker performed very well. As usual we suggest using external speakers or headphones for an improved audio experience.

The Honor 8A is an entry-level smartphone with no real flaws. Considering the almost identical price, it offers more than its most prominent in-house competitor, the Huawei Y6 Smartphone Phablet Android.
