I don't like the newer format which are basically smaller phones with a slightly longer screen. So, the alcatel is great for watching TV same aspect ratio and YouTube clips etc. The text is large and clear and although the resolution is not HD, you would not be able to tell the difference between this and an HD screen, except perhaps under a strong magnifying glass. Texting is a breeze. This is my first smartphone and whereas before it took me about 5 minutes to write a couple of short sentences on my old phone, now it takes me about 20 seconds, thanks to the phone's intuitive predictive suggestions.
The fingerprint scanner is a great feature. It gives added security and it's conveniently positioned on the rear of the phone. I bought Superb product for the price. Large screen makes this phone easy and quick to use.

The only issue is that the internal memory is too scarce which forces you to control tight which apps you can have installed. This phone is perfect for me as I really only use it for calls and texts, the keys are large and I can read them without my glasses. Lovely phone, easy to use n set up. Nice screen size. Love it. Very good replacement for my old phone. Simple transfer of the SIM card, and a 32Gig memory card makes it into a music machine and camera with really good definition.
