Step 1 Before replacing the secondary microphone of your Galaxy A3 , you have to turn it off for safety reasons. To do so, press the power button for a few seconds and click on "Turn off". Step 2 Take the SIM card eject tool and insert it in the hole. Step 3 In order to remove the rear glass of the phone, you have to heat it up for 1 to 2 minutes with a hair dryer. Step 4 Once the rear glass is heated enough, insert an iSesamo between the glass and the frame as shown on the picture and then glide to to the top to remove the glue on the right side of the glass.

Step 5 Do the same for the top part and left part of the rear glass. Step 6 Lift the rear glass and remove it.

Careful, the logic board is still attached to the phone by a cable! Step 17 Disconnect the dock connect and remove the logic board. Step 18 Use the flat edge of the nylon spudger to disconnect the secondary microphone. No discussion about it. That said, I never compared both routes as you did. By the way, I don't think pedometer is a good comparaison object Join Date: Joined: May To improve quicker and accurate gps, you can switch off bluetooth and wifi scanning in Location setting top right Also possible it works better with wifi total off.

These are all signals in the ether conflicting a bit. OP Member. Thanks for the tips. I recently started testing again and maybe I found the cause to be related to my tracking app runtastic. When the route starts being off where I really am, and I open Google maps in parallel, it shows me being completely off track, like in a lake for example.

And it stays this way while running: it moves forward, but still several meters off track.

How do I switch WiFi Calling on?

But then when I stop and close runtastic, the Google maps location suddenly jumps back on track where I currently am. I was able to reproduce this twice already, and next I will test with a different running app. Still, a weird problem that started appearing only with the a3. Join Date: Joined: Dec Same problem on A5 Hello, any conclusion on this? It seems I have the same problem on my A5 Was it Runtastic? Regards, Laszlo.

Did you know your Samsung mobile also has an SOS feature?

Unfortunately not. I tried different apps, and also hoped the latest software update would improve the situation, but it's still the same. Probably hardware related, but I don't want to send it in. Thanks Meter : 1. I have a5 and the same error. I use Sporttracker a long time for running and in the A5 it is tracks innacurate. There is even innacurate speed and distance. I am dissapointed because my old S4 and even S2 were accurate! I will try gps without wifi and mobile network, only Gps signal, but I think that it is very big bug in Samsung galaxy A5 !!

Do you have any solution for this bug? Thanks Meter : 8. I don't use any "sports tracking apps" but my a3 is very accurate - outside building I seem to get accuracy within 1 meter or less of real position. Further more I seem to be getting fixes in places where my old phone or my peers phones cant even dream of getting one. Could be different FW, maybe gps module differs between revisions? What do seem to be rather noisy cant compare to other devices is magnetometer, perhaps your apps are using it for some data fusion?

Accuracy vs. Hello, I agree, that the static accuracy and fix speed is not an issue. It can fix quickly even indoors. But when I start moving, something happens. It measures even the first kilometer of running faulty, I mean it fails a few hundred meters on 1 kilometer!

I tried more tracking apps, and it seems it's not app related. Originally I used Runtastic on iPhone6, and continued to use that on Android too.

I have the latest firmware on the phone too.
