Great Days Out. ES Best. ES Shop. Travel Offers. Honor 20 Pro is around corner, but P30 Pro has been out for weeks, as usual as the next huawei phone, users find out:. Such as " beian. Another frequently listed request was sent to china. The fact that Huawei P30 Pro initated connections to beian. It will help the low light, but will not help anywhere else. I would love to see the main cameras on phones to become wideangle with option to have a normal lens by croping That would be awesome!
The sensor's size is limited since it will be used for smartphones. Can you imagine a phone as thick as a mirrorless camera? You need bigger lenses when you have bigger sensors. They are crappy enough to not come from a serious camera. Unless they used an "AI filter" to mimic a crappy smartphone ;-. She "has more passports than Jason Bourne". As a government owned company, Huawei is more powerful than you can think of even you do not get rewards for buying huawei phone. Huawei even does not offer "no-spy" agreement to Canada, but force to sale its core network equipment to Canada,.
People just seem to loose the perspective that technology grows as a continuous process. Look for camera phones reviews of five years ago, preferably with sample photos and prices. Ok ok, the progression rate I suggested is just a guess, but it serves the purpose of establishing time and growth perspective, instead of just looking at immediate "facts" through a very narrow and insecure this one is a mystery to me, really point of view.
If it feels instantaneous, it'll be the same as Google's ZSL which works by simply ending the burst upon pressing the shutter button instead of starting, the data it works with would therefore come from before your shutter press which will be of lower quality and quantity because you don't know how long you should wait and won't be intentionally steadying the phone before the shutter press. More than comments already speculating about only three photos provided by the manufacturer. Maybe we should just all wait for a real review.

How many people noticed the sunrays of the third shot? I wouldn't assume that they could fit a blade aperture mechanism into phone module thickness, so unless they advertise "AI sunrays", it seems Huawei is faking samples again. Upon closer inspection, it's shot from Huawei phone. Plasticky look, heavy noise reduction. I still want to see details in pictures and it's no point removing those details, especially if the hardware is capable of. They look messy but not "wide open" messy, they're clear enough that they'd have to come from real blades or be deliberately generated.
And in my opinion one can hold a smartphone steadier than a DSLR. My experience is that even a smartphone with a non-stabilized lens and with a grippy case can take sharp raw photos with an at least 1 stop longer exposure time than a DSLR. On the plus side, the smartphone has no flapping mirror and a much smaller, quieter shutter. On the minus side, the smartphone is lighter, which means it has a lower inertia than a DSLR.
Also, the smartphone is held with extended arms, which amplifies the shake Hi DPR! From one point - you stress it much, about DoF equivalence, and guess what, F1. That F1. Guess the cropfactor I must admit, the Huawei P30 Pro does for a smartphone really nice samples, but i wouldn't ever 1 spent that much for just a smartphone, and 2 would always prefer my real camera s instead of this.

But the usual, big advantage hereby is: one does have always your phone with you - not your camera. I dont read anything about a small dof anywhere.. Having fast lenses is not just about dof and in phones its about speed. Nobody is comparing to a DSLR. It's simply the fastest aperture on a smartphone and that has to be worth mentioning.
This is made possible through the use of an RYYB sensor". If so, Huawei will save its government a lot of trouble, and manpower such as:.
- Will there be a ToF sensor in the next iPhone?
Yes Lars, but it doesn't make sense. It's really nonsense, if this smallish sensor is F1. It would never compare in terms of quality with a real camera setup, because of simply plain physics, and sensor size. But for a mobile phone, it's good enough. And that's simply not the case, with these very small sensors - see the fake, faux bokeh apps and features of current phones. I do prefer the real deal. End of story - in , phones like the P30 Pro are good enough as ever ready camera, and good enough even for prints.
Although I am a Chinese, what I want to say is that Huawei's mobile phone is really bad, not performance bias. Huawei is good at deception. This is a sample of the photo, so take a look! Plus not decent. In other words, huawei's founder, who is the core member of Communist party member, has far less decency than Russian communist party. He successfully recruited Poland "Piotr D. In he was dismissed from the post of vice director of the department. His dismissal was connected to corruption at the agency. He was then promoted to department director at UKE We're all dissing Huawei, but surprise surprise all especially big corporations are evil in some ways.

I covered this many times already but apologists keep arguing Huawei's evil is necessary. It's not. It introduce some serious ghosting and oil painting effect that destroys fine details for no reason, unlike P30 Pro's newer one which actually improves the dynamic range and detail rendition dramatically. They decided to intentionally degrade the processing on Honor series so that it won't have an advantage over more expensive P series in image quality.
What a dick move. It wouldn't cost them any extra if they used the upgraded version of the night mode instead of the older version, so they only did it to protect their P-series lineup. Also it doesn't makes sense to say that Huawei shouldn't follow Google's path just because they are not a software company.
