Without delving into the technicalities of the processor and SOC used, this is clearly one of, if not the fastest phones in the world. Sadly, for a lot of people the economics of which phone to choose will lead them to get the S6 over the S6 Edge because it's much cheaper. Some of the features on the Edge are nice, but none of them are so important that you'll pine for them with the standard S6. The style is by far the hardest thing to say goodbye to, but if you were given the choice of more storage or the curve, which would you take?

If you still find yourself wanting the S6 Edge, then that's the phone you should get - and honestly, you'll love whichever you end up buying. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is everything it should be. It's small, light and powerful. It's a new design that looks and feels great, and there's loads of power to run even the most challenging Android apps. The new design for the S6 is streets ahead of the S5.

Samsung has rid itself of that plastic body and made its flagship phone into something that feels like a flagship. Before it was always HTC and Apple that had the more impressive build quality, now though Samsung has joined them with a metal and glass construction that is fantastic. Make no mistake though, these are expensive phones. The lack of microSD storage might bother some, and the lack of replaceable battery could be a concern as the phone ages.

For now though, we think the S6 is the best Android device out there.

If you really want to go all-in on dark mode, the best bet is to look in each app's Settings section appearance or display subsettings are a great place to look for the option to change the look of the app. Google Photos now has a dark mode that's activated whenever you enable a dark or night theme on your Android phone.

You won't find a toggle in the app's settings menu and there's no specific update that appears to have enabled it. If your phone is running Android Pie, you can enable its built-in dark mode. The process will vary based on who made your device and any customization made to Android.
