Hi Bee, following up on this as I tried it out. I stopped sharing my location, and not sure a notification went out at that time.

However, when I started sharing my location again with my husband, he did receive a notification on his iPhone. So I think if you were turning it off and on, this would apparent to the other members included in family sharing.
