Hopefully that's a sign that in the future, Oppo's range will adopt wider water resistance features. Oppo builds its smartphones to look like premium phones, but it keeps the costs low by utilising more modest internals for the most part. As such, what you get are phones that are entirely adequate performers, but not much more. There's then the added complication that Oppo's own "ColorOS" overlay substantially changes the way Android works, making for something of a learning curve if you're used to regular Android operation.
