LG Stylo 4 Review

Overall satisfactory. LG's V series is definitely better than the G series and Samsung for me. Yes, I'd recommend this product. Was this review helpful? Yes No With all the features available today - for me LG has hit a sweet spot! They kept the FM radio feature, they started the 5 camera battle with the first one in the V40 and I love the clean feel of this device in my hand.

It took a little while to get used to the slightly different notification sounds. It still has the knock on feature, which I like. I'm sorry that the cables from the LG V1 read more. I really love this phone. I don't understand why people sleep on LG so much. That skin is full of bloatware and bizarre UI changes.

For one thing, gesture navigation on this phone is largely broken. The swipe gesture which goes back and forth though apps, for example, often skips over two or three apps even on a quick swipe. Sometimes, the drawer will even just leave blank spots on pages for no reason at all. LG, why are you like this?

LG G8 ThinQ review: Great or gimmicky?

Diving further into this, I have a smaller but still annoying complaint. Once you go to save the screenshot, it also saves as a copy, leaving you with a duplicate. Over time, things have gotten slowly worse as Android as a whole has been getting better. Instead, they developed AirMotion.

This feature takes a scan of your hand and tracks its movements to do things like adjust volume or control playback. The pitch is to use this when your hands are dirty, which is a good idea, but the implementation is too horrible to make that worthwhile. You have to perfectly place your hand to get this sort of thing working, and even then, it takes so much longer to get the feature working.

In the case of your hands being dirty, it would be quicker to wash and dry them and then complete the action versus using AirMotion. This phone is as slippery as an ice cube and seems like it just wants to fall off of anything. Could it be the admittedly nice lack of a camera bump?
