Just to let you know I decided to take the risk and have bought a Charge HR to replace my flex as I wanted something that showed the time. I have only used it for a day but I can say that it does work with the Galaxy A3 I had already got the app installed but when I used it the first time and added the new device there was no problem. That's great Sshishin I liked the flex but this is even better.
